internal dimensions of the vessel 20cmx30cm
desired filling height 40cm
Formula: length x width x height
Calculation: 20cm x 30cm x 40cm = 24000cm³ x 0.0007 = 16.80kg (=required quantity).
Result: You require 17kg, equivalent to 34 bags of 500g each.
Round, cylindrical hollow vessels: Volume (cm³) x 0.0007 = required quantity (in kg)

Example:
inner diameter of the vessel 20cm
desired filling height 50cm
Formula: diameter squared x 3.14: 4 x height
Calculation: 20cm x 20cm x 3.14: 4 x 50cm = 15700cm³ x 0.0007 = 10.99kg required quantity.
Result: You require 11kg, equivalent to 22 bags of 500g each.

Simple determination of material requirements:
Weigh your empty vessel Fill the vessel to the desired filling height and weigh it again.
The difference between both weights is the number of litres in your vessel. Now, multiply the litres with 0.7, the result is the quantity of acrylic raindrops required (in kg) for this vessel.
